It's Broke Brodie's birthday!
But just where is his family?
This game was made in 3 days for Pixel Horror Jam 2!
Inspiration for the Broke Brodie comes from Fleischer cartoons from the 30's as well as NES era platform video games. Broke Brodie was originally from a bigger project that was cancelled but elements of the bigger game still appear here.
Thank you for playing!
Gameplay time should be 3 to 10 minutes.
2 bad ends, 1 neutral, 1 good end!
[Known Issues: You will have to restart the game if the platforms aren't functioning properly.]
[10/2/23: Game uses old name "numituwi". Will not be updated internally for this game, but just an fyi. Name is now "numijulie".]

Hello! Thank you so much for playing this old game. It’s great seeing people experience it and figure out what to do. There was once upon a time where this game was going to be expanded upon but it never came to be for personal reasons. Thanks again for expressing interest and posting a vid!
Very very brief, though I understand it was for a jam. Was enjoyable to play though and captured the aesthetic, had some interesting characters too. Definitely has potential to be fleshed out!
Is this in reference to Brody Stevens?
Hey there! I found this game and thought it looked intriguing, so I decided to play it on a little spooky game stream.
The FLeischer aesthetic is pretty well captured even in this 8-bit art style, and there are a few rather fun encounters, but while I did enjoy it I have to admit it's a little bit underwhelming to not even see the main bad guy that gets teased if you lose, or even really learning what's going on. I get this was for a Jam, but still, some manner of creepy ending screen would have made a world of difference.
Still though, a fun, cute and spooky little romp that I thoroughly enjoyed playing through.
